How many times have we heard ourselves say, “I know what I’m supposed to do, but I just can’t seem to do it”?
Perhaps the familiar ways of coping with challenges no longer bring the same relief. You may be feeling unsettled by how recent events are affecting your relationships or work. You want things to feel different, but you’re unsure how to get there. I take that desire seriously. Together, we can transform the expectations for yourself that keep you stuck into curiosity about your inner world and your relationships. My goal in therapy is to help you turn that hope into empowerment, so you can approach life’s challenges—and rewards—with a renewed sense of confidence in your own abilities.
Bridging Emotion and Understanding
True change often requires a combination of emotional experience and deeper understanding. Emotional catharsis alone, while sometimes relieving, can be difficult to translate into daily life. On the other hand, simply understanding why we do something doesn’t always lead to change.
By integrating both emotional experience and cognitive insight, we create a more comprehensive path for change. This approach allows us to move beyond the surface level of our challenges and connect with our deeper selves, where meaningful and lasting transformation occurs.
