This belief shapes my approach to therapy, supervision, and life itself. As a graduate of Widener University’s Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology, I have built a career that merges my diverse interests and experiences into my work as a psychologist.
I maintain a thriving, though small, private practice and also serve as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in the outpatient psychiatry department at Jefferson Einstein Medical Center, part of Jefferson Health. Here, I have the privilege of working with a diverse patient population facing multiple, often intersecting, psychological, medical, and social challenges. I take pride in helping people navigate their journeys toward growth and healing.
In addition to my clinical work, I am involved in the training and development of future clinicians. I supervise psychology trainees and psychiatry residents, guiding them in the art and science of psychotherapy. Through this role, I help emerging professionals cultivate the skills they need to offer meaningful, effective care.
Before becoming a psychologist, I trained as a musician and a music therapist. The improvisational style of music I played continues to influence the work I do today, inspiring a spontaneous, here-and-now approach that allows me to be fully present with the people with whom I work.

I believe that quality mental healthcare should be accessible. Therefore, I accept a limited number of insurance plans to balance this commitment with the personalized care I provide.
For the insurance companies in which I am in-network, I submit charges directly to those insurance companies. You are responsible for any deductibles, co-pays, or services not covered by your insurance. While most plans do cover mental health services, it’s important that you confirm with your insurance company prior to starting therapy (because some don’t, or they have specific providers you are capitated to) to avoid unexpected costs.
Insurances I Accept
*I am a Premier Blue provider in the Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield network, which often allows me to be in-network with out-of-area Blue Cross Blue Shield plans. However, some of these out-of-area plans have mental health “carve-outs,” which means they contract out their mental and behavioral health benefits to another insurance company. So, I strongly encourage you to verify whether I am in-network for your specific plan and location before starting therapy to avoid unexpected charges.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If I am out-of-network with your insurance, I can provide you with a superbill that you can submit for potential reimbursement. However, please be aware that out-of-network benefits often come with higher deductibles and lower reimbursement rates. You will be responsible for my full fee, as I do not have a negotiated rate with these companies. Insurance companies may only reimburse a percentage of their negotiated rate, which may be lower than my out-of-pocket fee, so it’s essential to check your out-of-network benefits with your provider before beginning therapy to understand your financial responsibility.
